The school report, read and remembered
Reports arrive as PDFs and get filed. Fincho reads them, keeps the trend per subject, and uses the grades where they matter: what a subject needs before it can be carried on, and the conversation about what to do next.

A two-page tracking report
Eilidh uploads both pages. Pip reads the legend on page one first, whatever her school uses, then every subject row, and shows a table for her to check. She taps Looks right. The grades sync to her subjects, and the school's format is remembered for next time and for classmates.
Then Pip talks it through: three things that stand out, two to keep an eye on, and a question rather than a verdict. Maths and French both read like a routine problem, not an ability one.
Any school's codes
A to D, working at a level, on track or not yet, or the school's own tracking scale. Pip reads the legend and learns the format once per school.
Check before it counts
Nothing is saved until the student confirms the table. Misreads are fixed in the panel.
Trend, not snapshot
Each report adds a point per subject. Change since last time is shown beside the grade.
Used where it matters
Grades feed practice priorities, the view in S4 of which subjects can be carried into S5, and the weekly report to parents.
What parents see
You see the grade table and trend for each child, exactly as confirmed. This is one of the few things both of you see.
